Here’s an opportunity watch one of our favorite inventors, Oklahoma City’s Jay Martin, inspire a TEDxOKC audience this spring with his thoughts on the inventive mind and encouraging others to pursue their own inventions.
Jay has created and patented advanced prosthetic designs that are allowing amputees to gain new mobility and freedom of movement. But he’s also now moved into the classroom to share his calling as an inventor with students.
“My purpose and calling in life is to change the world through innovation,” Jay told the TEDxOKC audience. “But I realized I could have an exponentially greater impact on the world through teaching others how to innovate. My hope and expectation is that by enabling my students they go on to have a greater impact on the world than I.”
